Perfect Fit

With a single look, she takes his breath away
She simply smiles, “I’m just a normal flawed girl”

Momentarily stunned, he breathes in her beauty
Completely captivated … under her spell

He thinks he couldn’t possibly love her more
Than he does – right now – this very moment

And then … the next moment comes
Intoxicating … he loves her even more

With urgency, he pulls her close to him
He knows he has to feel her against him

The sensation … electric
The fit … perfect

Christine Comyn - Fantasies

Artist: Christine Comyn

And He Hears…

He hears her voice in vibrant tones
The colorful lilt of a perfect sunset

And he hears…

He feels a smile grow deep within
From the soothing rhythm of her words

And he hears…

They talk of little things – inconsequential really
No matter … it is the essence of her voice he wants

And he hears…

She talks of scribbling hearts and stars on paper
She says she wonders why … but, she knows

And he hears…

She sprinkles carefree giggles – here and there
They resonate throughout his body – his desire

And he hears…

Her voice reminds him of strawberries
As he enjoys the sweet taste of her words

And he hears…

It is her voice that plays on his mind
As she wordlessly captures his soul

And he hears…

Burgundy Fireworks

He thinks of the spaces between her words
Where comfortable silence stokes his anticipation

At first, he hears just the surface of her words
With the meaning’s complexity hidden below

She languidly floats out the word “burgundy”
Accompanied by a knowing mischievous giggle

His curiosity piqued – a desire to understand
The emotional fireworks she sparks with a simple word

His searches for the meaning to her word
During his silence she teases, “Don’t you like burgundy?”

She paints in the word with vibrant colors
Images form of the breeze, laughter, feathers, generosity

He smiles as the beautiful mystery starts to unfold
Emotional fireworks explode between the spaces of her words

She is burgundy …
